Good morning guys.
First of all I would like to say that I am pleased to be a part of such a great community such as this one.

To the point.

A week ago I was gifted an iPhone 3gs. It was slightly used, but had all the traces of another user, so I wanted to make it as new. I went to the options and choose the erase all content and settings, unfortunately I got stuck and I had to restore and update to 3.1.2 version. All went fine but I have this annoying problem that I do not know how exactly to explain since I am lacking the word (i am bulgarian) but I will try.

When the iPhone is in sleep mode, I press the button to switch it on, so the unlock slider appears, as soon as I slide it icons on desktop appear with a slight cutting effect I hope you can understand me as if you want to run a game in high detail on a slow PC :)

I don't know if it is a hardware problem or it is software but it is annoying :( I am quite a noob in the software update thing, but I have an old iPhone 2G with 3.0 that doesn't have this problem despite of the fact that the rest of things go really SLOW compared to my new iPhone 3GS.

I hope I can find a solution to my problem here.
Kind regards and thanks in advance.
