So I replaced a new battery in my iPhone 3GS. The battery works fine but when I tried to start the iPhone after installing the battery, screen is not working. Screen has only that dim white backlight when the phone is on but nothing else. It won't react on touch either. Otherwise the phone works since iTunes recognizes it and it vibrates when I put it in silent mode.

I fear that I have somehow damaged the motherboard since I had to took it off when replacing the new battery. I think the screen still works fine because I didn't have to do anything to it. It looks like that the screen connectors no. 2 and/or 3 are not transmitting any data since I tried how the phone works with those two connectors unfastened and it works just like the same when they are fastened.

Can anybody please help me with this problem?
