hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum! :) I have a problem with my Iphone 3Gs. I was at the gym and a 8kg dumbbell fallen on my phone from a height of about 20 cm...and now shows "no service"...what can be the problem? the motherboard? the antenna? I also opened it and checked that all connectors are in place...

Check the sim tray, check the two pins are in the correct position - they're like 2 bits of thin metal in a 'z' shape.
If they are in the incorrect position it quite often comes up as no service - I would upload a picture so it makes more sense but I don't know how lol

thank you, but that's not the problem...contacts are ok, and if they had been those, iphone would have shown "no sim" instead of "no service"....no, must be something else....but thank you anyway! :)
