iphone 3gs old bootroom problem

Hello,
I have an iPhone 3Gs with old bootroom, iOS 5.0, jailbroken and unlocked, with a foreign SIM card inside.

Recently, after updating Cydia, it stopped working and it does not start again.

My question: what is the best procedure to easily set it up as a new phone, deleting all the data on it, WITHOUT losing jailbreak and unlock?

edit:
it might look like I found or stole the phone, so if you have that doubt, you can check my previous posts here from last fall and check... I already had that phone at that time.
