I have recently purchased a white digitizer/LCD combo for my iPhone 3Gs from a seller on eBay. I got the first one a couple of weeks ago and both the proximity sensor and earpiece were faulty. So I sent it back and received a new one today. Same issues.

The prox sensor is messed up so when the phone is close to my head and I'm talking, the screen is lit up, but when I take it away from my head, the screen goes black. Basically the opposite of how it is supposed to work. The earpiece emits no sound.

Any suggestions or should I simply ask for my money back and wash my hands of this? I've already lost a bunch of money on return shipping and would not like to have to do it again... Thanks in advance.
