Hello, I've been having this problem ever since I purchased my 3GS in May. Sometimes I'll be on the phone and I'll move it away from my ear to check a text or something and the phone goes black, as if its near my ear. Then I'll slowly move it toward my ear while looking at the screen from the corner of my eye and see that it lights up when its near my ear, while its supposed to be doing the opposite. When I first had this problem, I took it back to the AT&T store but the guy just told me this happens sometimes and to just turn the phone back on and off sometimes. I've updated to iOS4 when it came out (currently on 4.0.2) and have restored my phone a few times because of some other issues, but this one has remained. Is there any remedy for this? Thanks
