iPhone 3GS restored but itunes will not recognize

Help,

I restored my iPhone 3GS and after it reboots it shows the "connect to itunes" screen.
iTunes however moans that it can not recognize the device and I should restore the iPhone.

I did this twice but still no joy

Windows 7 64 bit. Never had any issues.

i reinstalled itunes.... now under "my computer" iphone shows up as a camera but itunes will not recognize it.... ahhh the pain

Try a DFU restore.

Hi,

before I had a chance to do a DFU restore I already started a restore on my work PC (XP 32bit) and for whatever reason after the restore it just worked

Funny I did reinstall iTunes at home (win 7 64bit) and did 3 restores but had no joy. Odd Odd Odd
