Hey guys,
I have an iphone 3gs jailbroken running 4.0.1 from a year ago that has been sitting in my cupboard. Is there any chance that i can jailbreak it to a newer firmware, like 4.2.1 or 4.3.3?
it has been previously jailbroken but it hasnt been on for a while.
I plugged it into Tinyumbrella and hit save SHSH and all that saved were
4.0.1
4.1
4.3.4
and the 5.0 beta's
i thought that if it was already jailbroken it would have saved the SHSH blobs so now i can safely upgrade to a certain firmware and jailbreak?
Is this possible?
Thanks

Without the specific blobs, you will be unable to upgrade to 4.2.1 or 4.3.3.

Yeah if you choose for cydia to back them up.

Open cydia on your phone it will tell you on the home screen if thats backing up your blobs
