These are my two iPhone 3GS. The right is an 16GB white and the left is an 8GB black.

They were bought at different times and only now have I compared them side by side and noticed the screen quality is better on the black than the white.

Neither have had their screens replaced so I am wondering why they are so different. The brightness setting is identical however the right one is more blue than the other. The left one matching the colours and contrast of my 4s.

This information is very constructive for correct planning. I like your work for providing information to the other.

I agree with Joanna88. Just kidding!

We also have a 16GB 3GS and an 8GB 3GS that were purchased at different times. I also noticed the screens were different. I doubt it has to do with the model differences. It's probably a manufacturing or calibration thing. Hard to know if wear and tear has anything to do with it, either.
