Link i doesn't work. And boy, that's a decent cut on something that's PAYG for a few hundred less.
 
Yeah, that's a very high price. Voda NZ has the 16 GB 3G for £440 and I suspect that the 32 GB 3GS will be a similar price when it launches here next month.
 
Yes. Lots of people are buying them from Vodafone and putting a Telecom SIM in there because Telecom's network is faster :)

how do you fancy selling me a few for a profit share exercise in the UK market.

I will pay you the face value + shipping, then you can watch them selling on ebay and we can split the profit 50/50.... what do you say?

Doesn't make any difference whether it's marked gift or not. Customs will see it's an iPhone on the xray and charge you the VAT/Duty on it. I know this, cos it happened to me! I didn't ask for the item to be sent as gift, but the seller did anyway, and I was stung.

I think it's down to luck whether they catch you or not - I've avoided their clutches a few times...

Then again, maybe a lead-lined Jiffy may be in order! :rolleyes:

Absolutely. I shipped 2 grands worth of stuff over a while back, all marked with full value, and didn't pay a penny! They were big ass boxes too. Think it just depends whether your shipment goes through in the morning or near clocking off time for the customs chaps. lol.
 
Hi. Has anyone received an iPhone 3GS from Play.com? Are they UK or European iPhones? I have a 16GB on order and just wondering what to expect.
