It would appear that I am getting about 100-300 kbps on the iPhone 3GS over 3G. Is this normal?
I live in New York City, and have 5 bars, so it can't be a coverage problem. Anyone else with this issue?

ATT Might be having service issues where you are at.... im getting great speeds here!

I have had consistent 3G full bars since activation.

Don't know how or why, but this thing blows me away.

reception and strength has been screwy all day here in NYC. lots of "unable to connect to server" weather app updating timeouts. GPS very slow. seems it's an ATT thing.

Here in Portland, OR I have been averaging 200-300k. I upgraded from the first generation iPhone and I have to tell you.. this doesn't seem all that much faster then the edge.

Weather and stocks is a confirmed yahoo problem. Most likely a bandwidth issue in the city for the speeds though.

Mine is running slow, real slow.
Oh there it is I turned it on, flying again.
No noticable difference between the 3G and 3Gs
