iPhone 3GS spazzing out after screen replacement

Replaced the cracked screen on my 3GS with new glass/digitizer I believe, now the screen occasionally freaks out and types on its own or when my finger just gets near. Could replacing it again fix this? With a quality replacement part?

Replace again with a decent digitiser, should resolve the issue. The good quality ones are cheap enough anyway that its daft to penny pinch.
