Iphone 3gs sticky

I recently got a new iphone 3gs throught virgin mobile. After a couple of days of use i notice my phone got constantly sticky, especially the screen. Every time i swiped it would feel sticky. I would then clean my screen with a cloth and again it would get sticky. I am wondering if it is normal for an iphone to get sticky like this?

Mine doesn't get sticky. Are you using a screen cover?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that your iPhone isn't a Virgin anymore.
