I have an iPhone 3Gs that is stuck in recovery mode, I was upgrading the software and unlocking it using Redsn0w, it got halfway through the installation and now it is stuck in recovery mode.
I have tried everything I can find, tinyumbrella, recboot, just tethered, I've tried to restore the phone on 2 different machines using 4.1 and 4.2.1 as well as a custom IPSW from pwnage tool. If I try with anything other than 4.2.1 itunes tells me the software is incompatible and if I try with 4.2.1 it goes through the whole process then give me an error 1015 and dumps the phone back into recovery mode. I'm at the end of my tether, does anyone have any ideas at all about what I can do,other than drop my phone into the bottom of a lake and forget this ever happened.
