Iphone 3GS stuck in recovery mode >:(

So i bought an iphone 3GS from craigslist today (been having really bad luck with iphones...) and it is stuck in recovery mode (the phone is in 10/10 condition it just will not get out of recovery mode) i have tried irecovery and DFU mode but it wont work.

When i try to restore is gets to the very end, then reboots and says it failed due to error 1015.

Please help! Thanks!!

me too!!!! I have tried everything and it doesn't work. please let me know if you find the solution

Try using Tiny Umbrella to get it out of recovery.

I have fixed it!!! I don't know how but I did.

So I plugged the iPhone into my computer and it was in recovery mode (not DFU) and I tried to restore it (windows 7 newest version of iTunes) and it failed at the very end.... Feeling angry I sat there for a bit and my iPhone rebooted but when it did the apple logo came up then all o a sudden a white bar was underneath it and it got to the end and boom my iPhone was working and out of recovery!
