Iphone 3gs Stuck in restore loop!!!

Hi All,

Really needing some urgent help here!!

I have an iphone 3gs 16 gig which was running 4.2.1 jailbroken with the ipad baseband, I connected to itunes and tried to update to 4.3.2 but it failed giving the error code 1015, it is now stuck in the connect to itunes......tried restoring etc nd nothing works!!! Please Help!!!!

If the problem occurs durning verification with Apple then try restoring on a different computer or even at Apple Store.

You have to use a custom ipsw to upgrade to whatever firmware since you have the iPad baseband installed.

Had the same issue. It's because you use a different Baseband and it doesn't pass Apples check.

Only thing that will work:
Use Sn0wbreeze to make a custom ipsw that includes iPad Baseband
Use iReb to put into DFU (It's a MUST, will bypass iTunes errors)
Hit Shift+Restore in iTunes, browse to that ipsw you just made. Restore with it.

It will restore but MAY still be in recovery. (Had that happen once) Just had to use newest Redsn0w to JB and it started right up with itunes setup.
