I got some water on my iphone by accident so i turned it off and dried it. When i turned it back on, the home button wasnt working so i turned it off again. Waited a couple of hours and now it wont boot up past the apple logo. After being stuck in the apple logo, it switches to a spinning wheel and restarts the cycle. I cant even turn the phone off because it just reboots by itself. Right now i am running the itunes restore and trying to restore it as a new iphone. I tried to restore a backup but it never worked even though it said it was succesful. any ideas if the restore doesn't work?

it didnt work..

All you can do as far as troubleshooting, would be to restore device as new.

Then pay apple to swap device, unfortunately. Unless you have insurance.
