Iphone 3gs stuck on apple logo

Hi My iphone 3gs is stuck on the apple logo. I reset all content and settings i now cant get onto my phone, also the sleep button is not working at the top, any suggestions as i know nothing about phones

Yesterday was a bad day to be resetting your iPhone as it was the day ios 7 was released and Apple's servers have been down.
There are a couple of other threads where people were trying to restore their phones and had the same thing happen.
Just give it some time and once Apple's servers are straightened out your phone should connect and finish restoring.

Yeah time is the only fix you need here, should be sorted any time in the next couple of days
