Iphone 3GS stuck trying to "Erase all content and settings"

Hey guys, so just tried to do a "Erase all content and settings" and it seems to be stuck on the apple with a little spinning wheel, however the wheel is not spinning. Any ideas/troubleshooting? or do i need to make a trip to apple store. Thanks in advance.

Put the phone in DFU mode and restore it through iTunes
