Iphone 3gs supports Apple in-ear headphones.

They already show the 3gs as supported with the in-ear headphones. So it looks like the new one will support the inline volume control..

Looks like the buds it comes with already have the volume control.

After trying my in-ears out with my new 3GS today, I'm not sure. The volume control now works, which is great. However, using voice control seems to somehow 'confuse' everything. Repeated clicks to activate voice control intermittently renders the microphone dead, and other times it makes the volume controls stop working.

Can anyone else with a pair have a play around and see if they get the same thing?

I note that Apple have not changed the compatibility information for the in-ears on the website. Maybe they're not fully compatible?
