My iPhone thinks that an accessory like an iHome is plugged in, because it keeps asking if i want to switch to airplane mode to reduce interference. However, it is NOT plugged into anything. Not only is it incredibly annoying having that window pop open constantly, but music wont play out of the speakers because it thinks that it is plugged into a dock. I tried cleaning out by waving in front of a vacuum cleaner, and the dock port seems to be clean. I also tried a restart. neither worked PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like the main symptom of water damage to me.

Check your moisture sensors. If they're still white take it to Apple.

It has never been exposed to any moisture. Unless its something in the air, but where are those sensors?
