iPhone 3GS to have MMS from the start

So I have talked to a couple of people who pre ordered the 3GS and all were told that the new phone would have MMS enabled from the get go with ATT. Just curious if anyone else can confirm this or if anyone has recieved their new phone and is the MMS enabled?
