I upgraded from a 3gs to a 4s. I trimmed my 3gs sim card to fit in the 4s while I was waiting on ATT to get their stuff straight on launch day so I don't have a sim card for the 3gs. Now I just want to give it to my son to use as an ipod. Problem is I did a 'restore to new', so now it's asking for a sim card before I can do anything. Any ideas?

Get a microsim adapter and stick your micro sim in it to activate the 3GS or hactivate it with Redsn0w.
