While I am at work, I tend to leave my iPhone plugged in all day. Unlike my previous iPhone models, this one does not appear to stay charged. With my old 3G, once the battery icon switched over to the plug/charged symbol it would stay that way until I left for the day. This one keeps switching back to the lightning bolt every 10-15 minutes for quick mini-charges.

Is this normal? Is this just a 3GS thing? It seems like my phone wont switch over to the external power source. Like it's just using the top 1% of the battery over and over again.

I only do this while at work. My battery functions fine when I am at home or out and about.

Please let me know what you think. Admittedly, I don't know much about this sort of thing. Any help would be much appreciated.
