Hi,

I just received an iPhone 3GS, its on baseband 04.15.00 and jailbroken on firmware 4.2.1. I've done quite a bit of unlocking before, so this procedure isn't new to me.

However, in this situation I am stumped because I've been trying to update to iPad 06.15.00BB on a Mac using the Pwnage Tool Special Unlock Edition (4.1.3) with iTunes 4.2.1. It was successfully jailbroken but no BB update so I cannot unlock with ultran0w 1.2.3.

My next thought would be to drop an unmodified firmware with a baseband that is unlockable by ultran0w 1.2.3 and then just pwn it up 4.3.3 preserving the baseband.

Any pointers?

Use the latest version of Redsn0w to install the iPad BB. Also have the iPad1,1_3.2.2 firmware on your computer.
