On 5/17/09 I purchased an iPhone 3g. My question is, do I qualify for the 3gs? And if so how do I go about returning the current phone without canceling my contract? I purchased at Best Buy because at the time AT&T store did not have any 16GB phones left. Any help?
Well, it worked, I will be picking up my 3GS on Friday thanks to Best Buys return policy. I went to the local Best Buy lastnight (my 29th day of return policy) the manager extended my retun period for three days and I have an appointment for Friday at 10:30 to swap my iPhone. I had to pay $50 to hold the phone, but the $50 was put onto a gift card so I cand spend it on whatever. I was told this will not effect my contract because the sale will only be proccessed through the Best Buy POS and not AT&T. I have it all in writing from the manager and hope it all goes smooth on Friday.
