I am new to this forum and need some of your expert tips. The situation is that,
I bought an manually unlocked iphone 3gs from ebay in Aug 2010. This was a new phone then(or atleast that is what the seller said) and it was locked to AT&T service. I jailbreaked it using cydia and used a different carrier. Now after 3 years I am again going back to AT&T carrier for a new number. So if I remove the unlock or remove the cydia from the phone and use the new number, will my phone work at all?
Will I be in the AT&T contract again?
If I restore my phone using Itunes and upgrade to the latest IOS, will the phone function at all??
I know this is an old phone, but my usage is limited so am happy with this itself. Please advice me on what can I be doing.
