Iphone 3GS Video Question

Hi all, I took a video with my iphone 3GS for a bad storm coming in NY, my question is are the vidoes suppose to look so narrow ? I posted it on youtube, please tell me if this is normal or do i have a setting off ? I would like it to show in full screen...

Whatever orientation you start recording in becomes fixed. So if you're portrait, the video will be tall and narrow. If you're landscape, it will look "normal"
