Iphone 3gs will not sync with old version of Itunes 10.1(need help)

I have a jailbreak phone. OS 4.3.3 I uninstall newer version of Itunes and install old version. Now my phone won't sync. What shall I do?
1. I don't want to lose my app
2. How do I get the computer to read /sync my phone?

Was there a reason you downgraded iTunes? I'm not up to speed on the jailbreak scene these days.
