First off, I know this question has probably been asked many times, and I'm really sorry for bringing it up again.
My Situation:
So, I currently am using a LG Xenon on AT&T, which I think the plan is up soon, and my dad will renew the same plan. This current plan has my phone with 1,000 text, but no data. Also, about a year ago, I had AT&T place a wix block on my sim card. My dad recently gave me his iPhone 3GS, and I want to be able to use it as a phone as well, as to not carry both a phone and an iPod, but both my dad and I do not want to be charged data.
My Question:
Can I just put my sim card into my iPhone, and not worry about data? Or will AT&T know that I have an iPhone without data, and charge me for data, even if I have a wix block on my sim card?
