Can someone tell me if i can unlock a iphone 3gs by changing the baseband? i have the phone currently in recovery mode jailbroken by blackra1n but i dont have ssh for it and i dont know how to bring it out of recovery mode without restoring to 4.3.3

if someone can tell me how to take it out of recovery mode without losing the baseband and firmware i would really appriciate it. if not can someone guide me on how to downgrade the base band and firmware after upgrading to 4.3.3?
