Need help/advise how to proceed furthur
(My goal is to use ATT official unlock and unjailbreak phone)
*
1. My iphone 3gs was locked with ATT in USA.
2. Moved back to India and got it unofficially unlocked ..Right now baseband is ipad 6.15..But I do not have original SSH files.
3. My iphone is now officially unlocked..ATT verified this..
4. I upgraded to iOS 5 hoping this will restore to factory setting and can use att official unlock so no more need to jailbreak.
5. After upgrading to ios 5 now its stuck at "SIM CARD not installed. Please install correct SIM CARD".
6. I have ATT micro sim card from my iphone 4..I will try make it into regular sim card with some tips from net ..and test it on iphone 3
*
If this does not work.. How should I proceed furthur..
a. Can I downgrade ipad baseband to 5.13XXX and will this resolve issue
b. Use Hactivate to bypass activation..but this will leave phone still jailbroken...
*
Thanks
Nilesh

Once you have iPad bb(6.15.00) installed, you can never restore with normal firmware. The phone is basically in an unstable state. You probably have to restore using a custom IPSW and reinstall iPad BB.

You can never downgrade BB either.
