iPhone 4.2.6 (Verizon) Jailbraking Issues

I'm trying to jailbreak my iPhone but I get this error...

libusb:error [darwin_transfer_status] transfer error: timed out

Using a MacBook Pro with 10.6.6 for the above error.

I have tried it on my friends PC and Greenpois0n continues to tell me to try again. Now I have accidently reset my phone back to factory and still cannot get the jailbreak to work.

Any ideas?

Yes I am, I got it to work but now I am being forced to download the software for 4.2.6 from iTunes and my phone has been completly wiped. Will I have to re-jailbrake the phone when I reload the operating software?

Yes, you will have to rejailbreak.
