I have searched for this and I don't see any documentation on the matter. But, I received an e-mail today and My iPhone 4 running 4.3.1 recognizes dog breeds and when clicked on, it opens Safari and brings up dogbreesinfo.com

Anyone else notice this?

I think that the email had embedded links... I sent an email to myself from my home pc with the exact same spelling of the dog breed and it didn't include any type of link that would open in Safari.

You can name a link whatever you want...Spammers do it all the time. Hold your mouse pointer over the link, and you should get a small popup that shows the true address.

Lol... ya it's embedded links. The iPhone does, however, recognize tracking numbers which I find to be pretty cool. You can click on it and you're provided with a "Track Shipment" pop up.
