IPhone 4.3 mirroring to TV

Just wanted to get some feedback on whether an IPhone 4 running IOS 4.3 will mirror the display to a TV as the IPad 2 will? Do you have to have a Digital AV adapter, or will it work with a VGA adapter as well? Does anyone have any real world experience? Thanks.

From my understanding, iP4 will not mirror to an external device. It will however output as long as the app supports it.

Thanks. That is more what I was interested in it doing, outputting vs mirroring. Anyone else have any actual experience with this working?

After looking for the HDMI adapter everywhere I found it on best buy and it does not do mirroring , it only shows videos and maybe netflix but Im not sure thought, I tried angry birds and dindt work :-(, I will be returning the adapter tomorrow.
