iPhone 4 4.1 will not autolock the screen anymore

I woke up this morning with my battery completely drained. I thought that was weird because when I went to bed I had about 40% left. After a few minutes of use after charging it, I noticed the screen would only dim and not autolock. I tried every autolock setting from 1-5 minutes but it would only dim.

I do not have any autolock SBSetting toggle installed.

have u tried to reset it?
hold power and home together and it should reboot it self!

if not , are u unlocked?

if not, just update and restore to the 4.2.1 with Itunes...
