i update my iphone 4 to 7.1.2.but it is asking for carrier sim.the sim i am using is not support.i brought the phone from someone. n i dont know which carrier.so can i bypass this n activate my phone.please urgent help.

The Apple store can tell you what carrier the phone is locked to.

Just turn on airplane mode
