iPhone 4 acting up...

I can turn it on, but it won't stay on for more than 30 seconds. The screen turns black with a spinning loading icon. Of course, my computer can only recognize it in iTunes for the 30 seconds that it stays on. The power button is broken, too, so I don't know how to put it in recovery/DFU mode. I just need some way to essentially hard reset it, to factory condition I guess. Does someone know a method that might works?
