Above.
I have an opportunity to buy a 4 from some guy I know at school, and he wants 400 for it, which is fine. But I think the guy that sold it to him stole it. So i was wondering if At&t has a backlist sort of thing that would prevent me from activating it? or anything that would do that?
Thanks

If you buy it knowing it is stolen, then you can be convicted of a felony.

The thing is, he has bought stuff from the guy that sold him the phone before that he bought and just sold really low. But idk if it is stolen or not...but if it is, will AT&T know or will iTunes? I know on old iphones it doesnt matter, but on the new one I dont know.
