I will be in Europe for 4 months and I have my iPhone 4 from AT&T but am still having issues with the proximity sensor (on 4.1). Will I be able to get my phone serviced (or swapped out) out of the country of purchase? I searched before I posted and couldn't find anything…
 
Perhaps you could. It never hurts to try

While I know I can and that it won't harm me, it may cause a great deal of inconvenience since the closest apple store is two and a half hours away. Sound advice, though. Thanks.
 
Dont see why not as you will show as a Voda/O2/Orange cstomer in the Uk and as long as its warranty I think they will do it
