I recently bought my brother in-law an appletv so that my nieces can facetime with me via the TV. We can't seem to get the facetime app to mirror on the TV.
Hardware:
iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2
Apple TV 3rd Generation with latest firmware. I believe its 7.2
He can airplay youtube videos without an issue however when ever he launches facetime the option is not listed. Everything i've found via google makes it sounds like it should work.
iPhone and AppleTV are the same wifi.
iPhone and AppleTV are logged into the same Apple ID.
We have restarted everything, Iphone, AppleTV, and wifi.
any help would be great.
