Hi,

I have a set of motorola MM450 noise cancelling headphones and they pairbup great with the iPhone 4 as they did with the iPhone 3GS, howeve there still isn't the function of changing tracks with the headphones.

Why would apple build there revoluntary new phone without this. Obviously I don't understand what it would take to allow this to happen but its annoying!

Can anyone explain to me why this isn't on apple list of todo things!!!!

Don't want to sound like im a complainer because I'm not. The new iPhone 4 is amazing, I am a apple fan and do think that this new design is elegant and so much better than the old iPhones but wish that they would just let you change tracks on your Bluetooth headphones.

Cheers
Mat

It was the same situation with the iPhone OS 3.0, that remained unchanged in iOS 4.

The iPhone does not support the complete AVRCP, which is a profile that provides a standard interface to control various audio/video devices. So you can start and stop, but not skip tracks. Why Apple chose to do this is a mystery.
