On iPhone 4 launch day, I contacted iHome to see if they had a dock insert yet for the i4 for my P99 radio. I got a very prompt response saying that they had not gotten the specs from Apple and when they had them it would be a month or two until it went into production.
However, if you want to get a proper fitting insert now, the Apple i4 insert for the universal dock fits the iHome radio perfectly. The only drawback is that it is white rather than black.
Personally I really don't care right now, as it solved the issue. Perhaps when iHome releases its black version I may get it ... perhaps not.
They haven't yet been seen at an Apple Store as far as I know, but I bought it from the Apple Store online (from my iPhone app as it turned out), and it was shipped directly from China, and I received it in less than a week from the moment I ordered it.
