iPhone 4 and iOS 6 speakerphone bug?

I haven't had this issue before and I'm not sure if the 5 does this, but if I am on a call on speakerphone and I plug in my headphones, the icon turns off, but the speakerphone itself stays on. This makes the phone call sound wierd because it's picking up the extra talking. Has anyone had this problem before or is it new?

The fix is to press the speakerphone icon on and off again.

I have the same problem

After the iOS6 upgrade on my 4S, I also hear phone input feedback while talking with headphones.

Does anyone know of a solution?
