iphone 4 and itunes not syncing correctly.

I don't know what's going on. My phone is 4.1 jailbroken and had synced it earlier with wifi sync. But then connected it because I wanted to sync some photos with iphoto. While i was syncing some pics, i made a ringtone and decided to sync it to add it to my phone. I clicked sync and it did.. But the ringtone doesn't come out in my phones ringtones. I have made ringtones for my phone before and never had this problem. No matter how many times i click sync, it wont add the ringtone.

Also, the sync button (i think) would turn grey and be useless after a syn which meant theres nothing to sync, but the sync button on itunes remains active but does nothing. I just got wifi sync so i do not know if thats the problem. thanks. Hope i made sense
