Iphone 4 and purchased Music

I'm sure this asked before but I couldn't find it. How do I move my purchased Itunes tracks off my iphone 4 into my computer libarary? Why the ********H**** cannot I not just grab the music and drag and drop it to the correct folder. Seams simple but....

Connect your phone to iTunes, right click your phone in the left pane, select "Transfer Purchases". You can drag and drop, only if you have the correct settings in iTunes. That would be "Manually Manage Music", on the summary tab. That little help button at the top of iTunes explains all these features.

Edit: It really isn't necessary to do anything except sync the phone to transfer music, if you have the correct settings.
