iPhone 4 and WatchESPN app

I have an iPhone4 and just downloaded the WatchESPN app on my phone. Video works fine on my phone, but when I hook my HDMI cable to my phone and hook up to my TV I have only audio and NO video. I use the same setup for the netflix app and it works just fine. Any suggestions?
