Iphone 4 apple warranty

I bought my iphone 4 32 gb on the INTERNETZ last month. do i need an actual physical receipt for apple to repair my phone if its covered by the warranty?

they preffer that you have the receipt with you and the box and cords just in case worse comes to worse, but they should have everything on file with your account there with the serial and your ID .

happened to me when i went in with the wrong receipt (wrong phone serial one it) and they pulled mine up on the computer

My iphone is HACKTIVATED, its showing on their website as never activated (aka not sold). Will that make my warranty longer (starts when i officially activates it via itunes with a official sim card) or they have some VIP informations on my phone that i dont have.

When you punch in your serial to the AppleCare website it should tell you when your coverage ends.

Thats what i just said.... when i punch it in, it says that this phone is not activated ( aka not sold) because i HACKTIVATED it.

For apple, my phone is still not sold.

My questions is: Do they have any more information than this ?

Because i'll just activate it ( officially) a week or two before i'll need to claim the warranty

So it never got officially activated.
You can probably do what you posted above and activate when you want for AppleCare.
