I bought an iPhone 4 (I'm the second owner) and went into an AT&T store today to have it set up as a pay as you go plan for $100 a year - more than enough for what I use it for. The AT&T chap in the store tells me the iPhone is the only phone AT&T has that WILL NOT work with prepay - but that there are ways around it after you jailbreak the phone. He said it was because of the data plan, which *I don't want* anyway, but they still wouldn't let me sign up for an account.
Is there any way I can use my iPhone 4 for AT&T prepay? Jailbroken or not, preferably not.
