Iphone 4 automatically returns to lockscreen after 45 seconds of recording a video

Hi there,

My iphone 4 have a really weird problem. It's running on firmware 4.1 jailbroken.

Here's the breakdown on the fault:
- After about 20-30 seconds of recording video, the light starts to dim.

- About 45-50 seconds in, the phone automatically turns the screen black.

- I tried pressing the power button or the home button and it returns back to the camera app, but the previous video recording session has ended, I have to start a new session.

How do i fix this? Any kind people, please help. Thanks in advance.

Sounds more like a software issue but I've never heard of it happening before. Most likely a conflict with a Cydia app or tweak that's installed.

It's a pain but you're most likely going to need a restore.

sound like you have software clash you could try and turn the auto lock setting off.
